  5. Try clearing the cache data from your phone before resetting. This will speed up the entire reboot process.

Now, let's move on to how you can reset your Huawei phone using three simple methods.

Part 2: How to Restore Your Huawei Phone in Android Recovery Menu

One of the simplest and effective ways resetting any Android phone is to use the recovery menu. This is a manual way to reset your Huawei device so you can get best results in less time. Follow the steps below to reset Huawei easily.

Step 1. Remember what we mentioned above? Turn off your phone. When off, press the power, home and volume buttons at the same time. This will enable the Android Recovery menu.

Step 2. After that, you will see a wide range of options. Use the volume up and down buttons to scroll until you see the "wipe data / factory reset" option.

Step 3. Press the power button to select this option. Now wait.

Step 4. After a while, the screen should be changed. Then select the "reboot system now" option. After the process is complete, the device will reboot.

Step 1. Enter the "Settings" option on your device and look for the " Backup and reset ". It will either be in the "Personal" or "Advanced settings" tab (depending on the Android version). If you have a password on your phone, you will need to use it.

Step 2. From there select the "Factory Data Reset" option.

Reset Huawei via Google Android

Android manager can find, lock and erase Huawei smartphone by searching functions on most android phones Huawei. Sign in to the web app using your Gmail address and password (link under Resources) and - if you have more than one Android device on your account - select the correct device name from the drop-down menu at the top. Click the "Erase" button if the phone was installed by Google. It won't work if you haven't registered your phone to Android Manager before.

Reset Huawei without Google credentials

However, without access to a Google account, you need to reset your device with external buttons... This procedure is model dependent, but typically involves holding down a combination of buttons at the same time until the device enters recovery mode. For example, Huawei's Valiant and Vitria models require you to press the Volume Up and Power keys for a few seconds until an Android robot with a red error icon appears on the screen. At this point, you can navigate the recovery menu using the Volume Up, Volume Down and Power buttons and select the option to erase the device.

Reset Huawei with One Click

Recently, the Huawei series smartphone has been very popular in the market and has huge popularity among people. As for me, a few days ago, I just bought latest smartphone Huawei, Huawei P9. Like the rest of us nowadays, to safely use smartphones, we usually tend to lock our phone screen with patterns, passwords and fingerprints, so other people cannot easily peek into our personal information stored in our phone memory.

As for me, I prefer a password to lock my phone, Huawei P9 screen, so that I can keep my data safe. Also, when you are faced with a situation where I accidentally lost my phone, perhaps because of the password, the people who picked up my phone could not easily start it up. But unfortunately, I once did a stupid thing that I forgot the password I set earlier so that I could not unlock the Huawei P9's screen lock to use my phone. You really couldn't imagine how pleased I was and how excited I was.

Luckily, when I asked my friends for help, they presented me with some useful software and said that it was just a piece of cake to unlock your lock screen without losing our data on android devices after using the software. That being said, of course, I couldn't wait to try this software immediately. To be honest, I found this a useful software for me to unlock the screen lock. Just four steps. Here are the steps that I share with you.

Continuing the Q&A rubric, I decided to tell you about the Honor 6A smartphone, the famous Chinese brand Huawei. Some online stores do not mention the manufacturer, but do not hesitate, this is still the same Huawei. Honor models are very popular in Russia, and 6A models are especially good in terms of price-quality ratio. But each tube has its own set-up challenges. And our test subject today is no exception.

My sister's working smartphone died, and she asked to choose a fresh replacement device. The range of 5000-6000 rubles was announced. Long searches on the net have led nowhere. At this price point, all smartphones are equally bad. The main selection criteria are - rAM and a high-quality screen. You can throw slippers at me, but these are really the two most important points. No matter how powerful the processor is in the phone, it will be stupid if you have 1 gigabyte of memory. And the shitty screen is just unpleasant to look at.

We increased the budget a bit and found two better options: Huawei Y5 2017 and our copy. The differences between them are minimal. The sister chose Honor to her liking.

So, the main characteristics of Honor 6A (aka DLI TL20 in the Russian version and AL10 in the Chinese), released in 2017:

  • Snapdragon 430 MSM8937 processor (8 cores).
  • RAM 2 GB (internal 16 GB) - this is our desired minimum.
  • 1280x IPS screen
  • Battery 3020 mAh.
  • Shell E1 Operating system Android 7.0.

You might argue that there are tons of other options with these characteristics. And you will be right. But there was nothing else available in the city of Vladivostok. Therefore, we took the best option from the availability and do not regret it yet. We bought at MTS, because it takes a long time to wait with Aliexpress or Gearbest. And the phone was needed yesterday.

By the way: in the official Russian online store you can buy a fresh model Honor 7A at the same price (excluding shipping). There are two gift options to choose from.

In general, I have written answers to the most popular questions for all owners of this device. You can also ask your own in the comments.

Honor 6a: is there NFC or not?

There is no NFC function on this phone. The selling price of the device prevented the manufacturer from embedding a chip supporting near-field communication.

How to insert a SIM card into Honor 6A?

The technology is similar to all modern phones. Find the SIM card slot cover on the left side of the case. He's there alone, you can't mix it up. We insert a key-clip from the box or any pointed object into the hole of the tray. Insert the SIM card into the slot and close it. Everything!

Unlock Google Account on Huawei Honor 6A

With the release of the seventh "android", the issue of bypassing Google account can be considered the most popular on smartphones of any company. I ran into this problem myself when I decided to dig into. I made a hard reset out of habit and was very surprised when the offer to enter the Google password came out. This innovation appeared quite recently, and I did not know about it. Well, since you are reading this section of the article, then you want to bypass the FRP protection on the Honor 6A.

Honor 6A won't turn on or frozen

This smartphone model does not have a removable battery, and if the phone screen does not respond to touch, the buttons do not work, and I don’t want to wait until the battery is discharged by itself, I suggest three ways to solve the problem.

  1. For a forced reboot of the "android", you must press the "Power" (on / off) button and hold for 10-15 seconds. Usually 15 seconds is enough for a restart, but if it doesn't work, then try holding the power button longer, sometimes up to 1 minute.
  2. The second way to reboot the phone is to press and hold simultaneously the "Power" and "volume -" or "+" buttons for 15 seconds. In a pinch, both volume buttons. This trick is universal for any phone and Honor is no exception.
  3. The third method is suitable for people with straight arms. You need to carefully remove the back cover of the phone and disconnect the battery for one minute. After assembly, the phone should turn on with a 90% probability.

Honor 6A update

I do not recommend installing firmware updates manually from unknown sources. This lottery can turn a smartphone into a brick. If you are confident in your actions and understand why you need it, information on this issue is constantly updated in the w3bsit3-dns.com forum thread of the same name.

Automatic official updates that arrive by air are not supported by Chinese manufacturers for a long time, usually until the next model of their devices is released. Therefore, you should not wait for the latest firmware.

How to remove vibration on the Honor 6A keyboard

In the phone settings section there is an item "language and input". It contains everything related to entering text from the keyboard. Go to the subsection "virtual keyboard" and select the version that you use by default for typing. Disable vibration in settings. Please note that Google Voice Typing is not a keyboard but dictation technology.

With the complete USB wire, which charges the phone, we connect it to the port of a PC or laptop. A pop-up window will appear on the phone screen in which you will need to confirm the connection. An icon will also appear on the notification bar to indicate that the devices have been successfully connected.

Honor 6A - battery drains quickly

Possible reasons fast discharge:

  • The screen is at maximum brightness all the time.
  • Many applications are open.
  • The battery is swollen (the phone is uneven on the table).
  • The battery resource is exhausted (provided that the phone is in operation for at least a year) or its marriage, if, for example, a month has passed since the time of purchase.
  • Bad (or incorrect) firmware that distributes power incorrectly between blocks.

there is a large number of factors that make Huawei's touchscreen unresponsive. Quite often, mechanical damage becomes the root cause of such circumstances, in addition to them there are also software malfunctions, which can only be identified and eliminated at a service center.

First, pay attention to the appearance of your device. Due to clogged dust or oil droplets, the touchscreen may not respond to the owner's touch. To do this, you must constantly wipe the display with a special microfiber. This simple cleaning can get it to work. Also, train yourself not to use your phone with dirty or wet hands.

An improperly glued film may be the culprit for the touchscreen not working. This is due to air and dust bubbles that accumulate between the display surface and protective film... To solve this situation, you need to peel off the old film and glue the new one.

Sometimes the Huawei touchscreen does not work due to the fact that the signals received by the device are incorrectly perceived. Then, to return the program to its senses, it is enough to restart the phone.

Examine the screen carefully for chips. Even small cracks can cause the phone to slow down. As a result, the touchscreen partially responds to commands only in certain areas. Replacing the touchscreen on the phone in our service center will help to return the phone to its normal working condition.

If the touchscreen does not work on your Huawei phone, this may be due to a breakdown or failure of the sensor control chip. Very often, the failure of the module occurs after falls or strong impacts. It can also be caused by moisture penetration into the case. Replacing the microcircuit with a new one will help to solve the problem.

The touchscreen on the phone may break due to the breakdown of various components. For example, the loss of work can be a failure of the printed circuit board or its components, caused by moisture penetration, or mechanical damage. Only a complete diagnostics is able to reveal what exactly has broken down.
