2. In the address bar, type mail.ru and press the Enter button on your keyboard.

The main page of the Mail.ru website will be loaded. To get into your mail, you need to enter your login information in the rectangle in the upper left corner.

The program may have already filled in your data from a previous login. Then just click on "Mail". Your mailbox will open immediately after that.

3. In the line "Mailbox name" type the login from your email. Login is the part of the address before the @ sign.

For example, if the mailbox address is ivan.petrov [email protected] , then in this field you need to type ivan.petrov56. No spaces and no trailing point.

If the postal address does not end with mail.ru, but with list.ru, or bk.ru, or inbox.ru, then click on the adjacent @ mail.ru field and select the desired ending.

four . In the line "Password" type the code from your mailbox (it will be typed in dots). Then click on the "Login" button.

If you open your mail on someone else's computer, uncheck the "Remember" box.

How to enter mail from a phone

On modern mobile phones and tablets, you can fully work with Mail. There are two ways to do this - via the browser or via the application.

Browser login is when you start a program for the Internet and go to your email account in it. And an application is a separate program that is installed on the mobile. It is more convenient to work with mail through the application.

Methods for logging into mail.ru mail from a smartphone or tablet

one . At the top of the browser, type m.mail.ru and go to this address.

2. Click on the inscription "Mail".

3. In the "Login" field, type the name of your mailbox before the @ sign. For example, if the name is [email protected] , then you need to print ivan.petrov56

In the event that your mailbox does not end with mail.ru, then in the next field, where it says @ mail.ru, select the desired ending. It can be @ inbox.ru, @ list.ru, @ bk.ru.

If you enter the mail not from your device, but from someone else's, then remove the bird from the "Remember" item.

A list of incoming emails will open. That's it - you are logged into your email account!

Mobile app

It is convenient to work with letters through a browser, but only if you rarely use mail. Rarely means no more than once a week. In other cases, it is better to use mail client ... This is an application that helps you quickly receive and send emails.

But there is another option - the official Mail.ru app. It has more features:

• Search all letters in the mailbox
• Grouping emails by subject
• You can add multiple mailboxes and quickly switch between them
• You can add not only Mailboxes, but also other services: Yandex, Gmail, Yahoo, etc.
• there is the address book, personal spam filter, tagging and much more.

Mail.ru mail registration

You only need to register if you do not have a mailbox in Maila yet. After all, registration is creating a new email with a new address. If you already have a mailbox, you do not need to register!

one . Open a new tab, type mail.ru in the address bar and press Enter on your keyboard.

3. Fill in each field of the questionnaire.

Name. Type your name.

Surname. Type your last name.

Date of Birth . Indicate the date, month and year of your birth.

Gender. Select gender - male or female.

Desired mailing address... In this line you need to print the name for your future mailbox. You can use both letters and numbers, as well as period, underscore, or hyphen. But the letters must be typed in the Latin alphabet, because all addresses on the Internet are only in English.

Pay attention to the ending of the address. Initially, it is @ mail.ru, but you can choose another: @ inbox.ru, @ list.ru or @ bk.ru.

Password. Here you need to type the code with which you will open your mailbox. It must contain English letters and numbers. At least six and no spaces.

Password confirmation... In this line you need to print the same code as in the previous field.

Telephone . Here the site asks to print your mobile number. This is optional, but I highly recommend specifying it. After all, if there are problems with access to the box, the easiest way to restore it will be through the phone.

When all the fields are filled in, click the "Register" button. The system will ask you to print the numbers from the picture, and then your new email box will open. You can use it right away - send and receive letters.

Learning to use an e-mail box

All actions with mail take place in the user's personal account. Through it we receive and send letters, photographs and documents.

The mail.ru personal account looks like this:

On the left side there are folders:

• Inbox - all received messages are stored here.
• Sent - this is the folder where sent letters go (they are duplicated in it).
• Drafts is the folder where your unsent messages are saved. Through this folder, you can restore the message after a failure.
• Spam - ad junk is placed here.
• Trash - messages that you deleted from the mailbox are stored here.

The most important folder is Inbox. All new messages (except for spam) get into it. Are not yet bold open messages, and light blue - those that have already been opened.

To open a letter, you just need to left-click on it.

How to send a letter

To write and send a letter, click on the button that says "Write a letter" in the upper left corner.

Will load new page... In the "To" line, type the email address of the person you want to write the letter to.

On a note . All Internet addresses are composed of letters of the Latin alphabet (English). There is an @ sign in the middle, followed by a mail site. There is no dot at the end. Example: [email protected]

In the line "Subject" type the subject of the letter, that is, briefly say what it is about or from whom. You can print a topic in Russian letters.

The text of the letter is printed in a large white field. If there is a lot of text, this field will automatically expand (a slider will appear on the side).

After you fill in the required lines, press the "Submit" button once and wait a few seconds. If everything is in order, the page with the inscription "Your letter has been sent" will load. A copy of the letter will remain in the Sent Items folder.

How to send a file

To send a photo or a document, you need to do the same thing as for a regular email. Namely, fill in the "To", "Subject" fields and print the text of the letter.

But just before clicking the "Submit" button, you need to add the file inside. To do this, click on the inscription "Attach a file" (under the line "Subject").

A small window will appear. Find in it the photo, document or other file that you want to send, and double-click on it with the left mouse button.

The window will disappear, and the letter will show the file that you added.

Mail.ru does not open - what to do?

Check if it opens on other devices: on your phone, on another computer. If it opens, then the problem is on your side - most likely, it's a virus.

If Mile does not open anywhere, then in this case we are talking about blocking it.

I am trying to restore access to mail, but the error "The specified mailbox does not exist" pops up.

Such an error appears in one of two cases: either you make a mistake when entering the address (see), or the mailbox has been deleted.

By the way, according to the rules of the mail.ru site, the administration can delete the address if it has not been used for 6 months.

Mail inbox.ru, list.ru and bk.ru - is it Mile too?

There is one more point in the design of letters that it is desirable to customize - this is your signature at the bottom of the letter. This is what the recipient usually sees at the end like "Sincerely, Ivan Ivanov." This can be written in "More \u003d\u003e Settings \u003d\u003e Name and Signature" and the signature will be automatically added to each letter.

You can use the original signature if you do not conduct official correspondence.

You can also configure how the response will be sent - with or without the content of the received letter - "More \u003d\u003e Settings \u003d\u003e Working with letters"... Just leave or uncheck the "Sending Emails" section. There are many more useful parameters that make it easier to work with the box:

Working with folders

1. Follow the above link to the Mail.Ru Mail page. You can find it in the future by simply going to the main page and clicking on the button "Post office" at the top of the window.



2. Here you will be offered several ways to enter: Yandex, Google, Yahoo !. Here you can also log in with your Mail.Ru mailbox, and by clicking on the button "Other", you can enter a mailbox for other domains, for example, work or foreign.



3. When you select a specific service, @ and domain will be substituted automatically. You just have to enter your username and password, and then press the button "To come in".



4. As additional protection, the service may require you to re-enter the password.



5. An authorization service (such as Google, Yandex, and possibly your mail service) will make a request for access to the data. Allow it.



6. A notification will appear about entering the mailbox of another service through the Mail.Ru interface. If you wish, you can change your first and last name, and then press "Enter mail".



7. Since this is the first entry for Mail.Ru, it will offer to optimize the use of this email for its service. This involves setting up an avatar, adding a signature and choosing a background. • If after @ is written mail.ru, list.ru, inbox.ru or bk.ru, it means that the mailbox is on the mail.ru website.
• If after the dog is gmail.com, then the mailbox is on the site gmail.com (Google).
• If yandex.ru, yandex.by, yandex.ua, yandex.kz, yandex.com, ya.ru, then on the site yandex.ru (Yandex).

How to enter mail

Often, right after that, your box opens by itself. But if it doesn't, the login window will appear. Google prompts you to enter a phone number or email address. Phone will fit only if you have attached it to the box before. And so in this field you need to enter the address and click "Next".

Sometimes the Gmail home page appears instead of the login window. In this case, click on the inscription "Login" in the upper right corner.

In the next window, type your password and click "Next".

If everything is correct, incoming letters will open.

Why won't my mail open

There are three reasons why a person cannot get into his box:

• Invalid login
• Wrong password
• Mailbox deleted or locked

I'll tell you about each case now. And I'll tell you what to do too. The advice is trivial, but this is the only sure way to open your email.

Invalid login... Each mailbox has a login. This is his unique identifier on the mail site. Using it, the site can identify you and open your mailbox, and not someone else's.

Login always consists of English letters and / or numbers. It can contain a period, hyphen or underscore. And from this login, an address (email) is formed.

To enter your mailbox, you need to type your login correctly. You cannot be mistaken in any letter, number or symbol!

For example, my login is ivan.petrov-35. And if I type ivan.petrov35 instead, my email won't open - an error will be thrown.

In addition, on some mail sites, it is important to correctly indicate not only the login, but also the ending - the part that comes after the @ sign. This applies to everyone's beloved Mile.ru. There, the end of the box can be either the standard mail.ru, or another: bk.ru, list.ru or inbox.ru.

For example, I have a box on Mile [email protected] ... This means, in addition to the correct spelling of the login, you also need to choose the correct ending. Otherwise, I won't be able to get into my mailbox - the site will give an error.

Wrong password... The password is the key to the box. A set of letters and / or numbers with which it opens. If you make a mistake in at least one character, the password will not work, and the site will generate an error.

If the password contains letters, then they are typed only in English.

Moreover, it is case sensitive. This means that if it contains a capital letter, and you typed it in a small (lowercase) letter, then such a password will not work.

Mailbox deleted or locked... Sometimes, you can't get into the mailbox because it has been deleted from the mail site. That is, it was simply erased along with all the letters.

This usually happens if the address has been inactive for a long time. For example, the mailbox on Mail.ru was not entered for six months - then, according to the rules of the service, it can be deleted.

What to do if mail won't open

1. Open "Notepad", type there the password from the box, copy it and paste it on the site.

To do this, open "Start" and print a notepad right in the window. We launch the program.

A window for printing text will open. Here we print the password. Without spaces!

Select it and copy it. To do this, move the cursor to the end of the password, hold down the left mouse button and circle it. Then we right-click inside and select "Copy".

This simple procedure will help you not to make mistakes when entering. After all, on the site the password is typed in dots, and it is difficult to notice the error.

2. Try different login options.

Login is a unique identifier for a mailbox on a mail site. If you enter only one wrong letter, the system will not be able to identify the mail, and therefore will not be able to open it.

Often people do not make mistakes in the spelling of a login, but rather describe themselves. For example, a person has an address [email protected] ... And he prints the login yan.ivanov. This is mistake. Even if the password is correct, the mailbox will not open.

By the way, the login, unlike the password, is not case sensitive. That is, you can type it in letters of any size. Big, small - whatever, it doesn't matter.

3. Use the login and password recovery function.

Mail sites allow you to restore access to your mailbox. The system will ask several questions about your mail and if you answer correctly, it will ask you to enter a new password. The box will open immediately after that.

In Mail.ru, to restore access, click on the inscription "Forgot your password?".

In Yandex - I do not remember my username or I do not remember my password.

In Gmail.com, click Forgot your email address? or "Forgot your password?"

If you can't remember your login

It also happens that a person remembers the password, but forgot the address of the box. But the address, that is, the login on the mail site, is the main thing. Without it, you will not be able to restore access.

You can try to find out the login using a browser - the program through which you access the Internet. To do this, simply click on the field for entering the address with the left mouse button. If you're lucky, a list will appear where your username can be written.

Another way to find out your mail is to contact the person to whom you sent letters. If he has at least one letter from you, ask him to say what is indicated there in the address line. To do this, you need to open the message and look at the line under the title (at the top).

If the site writes that the mailbox does not exist

It happens that the mail site writes that the mailbox name is incorrect or there is no such account.

There are two reasons why this happens:

1. You made a mistake typing your login.
2. The box has been deleted.

The first reason is clear. The address is typed incorrectly and there really is no such login in the system. You just need to enter it correctly.

But if you are sure that the login is correct, and the site still shows that such mail does not exist, then the mailbox has been deleted. You can delete it yourself in the mail settings. Or it can happen automatically.

On some mail sites, this happens if the mailbox is not used for a long time. For example, if you have not entered your mail on mail.ru for more than six months, it can be deleted.

The address is erased along with all content. You can return it, but without the letters. To do this, you need to re-register the mail with the same name.

Answers on questions

Can someone other than me enter my mailbox?

Anyone who has a password for it can enter your mailbox. Therefore, it is important to keep it in a safe place and not show it to anyone.

Can I change the address of a valid mailbox?

No, you cannot change an already open address. You can only register a new one.

Can I change my mailbox password?

You can change your password at any time. This is done in the box settings:

• Mail.ru: click on your address in the upper right corner and select "Password and Security".
• Yandex: Click on the gear icon at the top right and select "Security".
• Google (Gmail): Click on your icon in the upper right corner, select "Manage google account". A new tab will open where you need to go to "Security and Login" and select "Password".

How to log out of your mailbox on someone else's computer?

In Mail.ru, you need to click on the door icon. Or on the sign "exit" in the upper right corner of the site.

In Yandex, click on the avatar (icon on the right) and select "Sign out".

Recently, the system introduced another opportunity to log into an account - through social networks: Vkontakte, Facebook, Twitter, Toy World, Google and Odnoklassniki. If you are logged in to the social network, you can quickly log in to Yandex. Registration in Yandex mail is absolutely free, you can go through it in a couple of minutes and use your mailbox for years.

To register, fill in the fields:

• surname;
• login (and repeat it);
• password (and repeat);
• mobile phone (if available).

Pay attention to the degree of password strength, if the system considers it unreliable, change the password. If you enter a mobile phone number, you will receive a confirmation to the specified number in the form of a code. The code will need to be entered into the appropriate window during registration. The user will immediately go to the mail settings:

If you want to receive notifications about new letters to the specified mobile number, confirm this in step # 1. The user has access to a convenient function of setting marks, which can be named and marked by color at their own discretion. Thus, you can sort letters: by work, from friends, family.

If you have several mailboxes, you can track mail in one, specify only the addresses of other mailboxes.

Complete the "Sender Information" section:

• enter your name;
• enter a signature that will end each letter you send;
• add an existing photo or take a new photo on a webcam;

So, you are in your mailbox and immediately see two new letters that came automatically from Yandex.

On the left is the vertical menu and it helps to navigate in letters, it consists of sections:

• sent;
• deleted;
• spam;
• drafts.

Horizontal menus

Horizontal topthe menu has the following sections:

• search (go to the search engine);
• mail (here you are now);
• disk (here you can store files and give links to them to other people to download the material) ;;
• money (here you can register a Yandex wallet);
• music (for listening to music);
• photos (for storing photos);
• more (many more sections).

Lower the horizontal menu consists of three sections: letters, disk, contacts (for adding permanent senders to the list).

Making changes to your account and adding contacts

If you were in a hurry and created your mail with data that you would like to change (for example, you indicated a fictitious name), you can always fix the situation.

If you want to make any changes to your account, mail settings or its design, you can do this after going to the section "Settings" of the same name, it is located in the upper right corner, next to the mail address.

Working with letters and the nuances of mail

Inbox

For reading incoming letters, the user needs to go to the appropriate section and click on the new letter that has arrived (the selection then disappears). When the email is open, the following functions are available to you:

• check (mail for new letters);
• reply (to an incoming open letter);
• reply All;
• forward (to another user);
• delete;

Other folders
