Android 4.3 kitkat firmware for galaxy n7000. Firmware Samsung Galaxy Note n7000

Surely many do not want to wait for the official samsung update Galaxy Note on Android 4.0 and want to flash their smartphone today. So I decided to write this small instruction so that everyone can quickly and successfully do this. Immediately I draw your attention to the fact that you do all the manipulations with your favorite phone at your own peril and risk, and neither I nor anyone else will be responsible in case of his untimely departure.

But be alarmed, everything is not so scary, and after spending about 15 minutes of your time, you will get an updated, gorgeous Android on your smartphone and a bunch of other goodies.

First steps

So, taking the smartphone in hand, immediately copy the contents of the folder efs to a safe place. Since you have to do "full wipe", you need to save all the necessary data from your phone, make a backup of SMS, contacts and any other required files, applications, etc. The latter can be done using the utility.

Preparing for firmware

  • The firmware itself, for example

We unpack the whole thing into a folder on the PC, and take out the cable from the table (box, box) to connect the phone to the computer. Now you need to upload the firmware file in the archive to the root of the memory card, in this case it will be called ICS_Stunner_1.4.26.1.zip.

Technical process

  1. Turn off the smartphone, connect the cable to it and the PC, put it in the "download" mode. To do this, you need to simultaneously hold down the keys: power on, volume down and the center button. A green robot appears.
  2. Next, you need to run the program for the firmware itself, namely the file Odin3 v1.85.exe from a previously downloaded set. We don't change anything in Odin, just select the CHAINFIRE REPACK I9220LP1-N7000-ICS-REPACK.tar file in the "PDA" item. That's it, now we press "Start" with an almost firm hand.
  3. We are waiting for the end of the process, after which we reboot the smartphone.
  4. We go into recovery mode and select the item "wipe data / factory reset" there. This will destroy all data in the smartphone! It is not necessary, but highly desirable, to do some kind of "brain cleaning".
  5. Select "install zip from sd card" and find the previously downloaded firmware file on the memory card, select it and press confirmation. The process takes less than a minute.
  6. We select "reboot system now" and enjoy the flashed smartphone.
