Of course, in fact, everything is not so bad: DSDS-smartphones are usually cheaper and last longer on a single battery charge, and modern models are quite capable of providing decent communication quality.

But if you want to get the most reliable "dual SIM" gadget, you need to look for devices with support for DSDA mode (Dual SIM Dual Active). Such smartphones are equipped with two independent radio modules, each of which must have its own IMEI. Due to the presence of two radio modules, communication is usually more stable.
