It is important to remember that without first configuring Smart Lock, none of these options will work.

This function has one significant drawback - anyone can unlock the phone using the "Unlock by location".

After multiple incorrect password entry, whatever it may be, the message "Forgot your password?" Will appear at the bottom of the screen. or "Forgot graph.key?". The inscription may be different depending on the brand of smartphone. When you click, an automatic transition to the recovery occurs through the account.

This option works on devices using the Android operating system not older than 4.0.

Factory reset allows you to bypass the lock on any modern smartphones, including Chinese devices that don't have other built-in features. The operation will delete all user settings along with the pattern and numeric password.

Unlocking on older versions of Android

For older versions of Android, there are different ways. The security level of such operating systems is lower than on modern smartphones, due to which you can get by with simple options. Older Android versions (5.0 and below) allow you to unlock your phone during a call.

Most push-button phones (for example, Nokia) that do not work on Android can be unlocked by pressing the "*" or "#" keys (depending on the brand).

How to unlock iPhone

In the case of the iPhone, everything is somewhat simpler, since the manufacturer has provided two simple ways:

iCloud;
iTunes.

If none of them worked for one reason or another, you should contact the service center and do not try to hack the phone yourself using additional utilities or by connecting to a PC, as this will automatically void the warranty period due to user intervention in the OS.

The method will work only if the "Find iPhone" function was enabled before and the smartphone is connected to Wi-Fi or a mobile network.

Connect your smartphone to PC via USB cable. It is important that this is the computer through which the synchronization was performed.

After the automatic synchronization is complete and the backup has been created, click on "Restore".

In the parameters of the restore process, you must select the "Restore from iTunes backup" option.

Select your device from the dropdown menu and start the restore process by checking the last backup. After restoring, all settings will be reset and you can set a new password.
